Luis Munoz Marin Boulevard is a street which runs from the Morris Canal through Downtown Jersey City to just over the city line in Hoboken and is in two sections designated Hudson County County Route 637.
Luis Muñoz Marín (February 18, 1898–April 30, 1980) was a Puerto Rican poet, journalist, and politician, and regarded as the "father of modern Puerto Rico",[2] Formerly called Henderson Street, named for the man who established the Jersey City Pottery Company.,[3] it is named in recognition the Puerto Rican community.
The Marin Boulevard (HBLR station), the Grove Street PATH station, Newport Mall, Boyle Plaza (the Holland Tunnel toll plaza), New Jersey Transit Hoboken Terminal lines are located on or intersect the street.

The Marin Boulevard station on the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail (HBLR) located south of Grand Street in Jersey City, New Jersey.
The station opened on April 22, 2000. Northbound service from the station is available to Hoboken Terminal and Tonnelle Avenue in North Bergen. Southbound service is available to West Side Avenue in Jersey City and 8th Street in Bayonne. Connection to PATH trains to midtown Manhattan and to New Jersey Transit commuter train service are available at Hoboken Terminal. Transfers to PATH trains to Newark, Harrison, and downtown Manhattan are available at Exchange Place.
